Colon hydrotherapy is a safe and gentle procedure to remove waste from the large intestine without the use of harsh drugs and laxatives. It releases accumulated congestion in the bowel. We use an FDA approved open system device that infuses triple filtered, temperature regulated water into the colon with sanitized disposable tubes. The waste is softened and loosened resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis.

How To Prepare  For Your Colonic
  1. A good rule of thumb is to drink 1/2 ounce of purified water for each pound of body weight daily as a minimum. Add more water for dehydrating activities or acidic food or drinks. Fluids should be consumed 15-30 minutes before meals or 60 minutes after. Try drinking a 16 oz glass of water with the juice of one lemon in the morning to flush toxins from the liver and gallbladder.
    Hydrate
  2. Probiotics are the healthy, helpful bacteria and microorganisms that should live in the digestive system. It is important to take a probiotic supplement to help maintain the healthy bacterial flora especially after your colonic session(s). Enzymes are important because most of our cooked foods are enzyme dead. As we age, the production of metabolic enzymes slows and this leads to a deficiency. Cooked foods basically borrow against your metabolism, speeding up the aging process and creating difficulty in the digestive system.

  3. Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables. It's best to eat fruit alone. It digests more quickly than any other food. Avoid cheese, processed food, white sugar, flour, milk. Also avoid food that you know is difficult to digest or causes gas and bloating. It is best to eat a light meal at least two hours before your colonic and make sure you chew your food completely.

  4. Get plenty of rest and RELAX! The intestines work best when they are relaxed. Laughing, breathing, exercising, listening to soothing music all help to calm the nervous system.
